A community is struggling

Our community of San Marcos in Quito is now 22 years old. She has gone through many crises, but stable. There are two members who have a reputation in the Great Commission to go. Paul Chiriboga is an agricultural engineer, and in our Indian community in the eastern lowlands of Ecuador in Mondayacu active. After a good six months where he has gained a foothold, people visited in the homes, the Bible reads with families and has easy access to the youth of the village. Paul lives very modestly and makes do with little money, even though he comes from a wealthy family in the capital. More can not pay him the town currently.
Jeanneth Hernández is 11 years in mission preparation. Several internships, two years in the above-mentioned Indian community Mondayacu with a thriving children's work and family visits. 4 years Bible School. Still lacks an English course and their goal is Mozambique. The mission there in Africa has accepted it two years ago. Is there a problem that they must wait so long? Both
has defined the church leadership a minimum salary from the municipal treasury. But it is not supported by the majority of church members. And a release to Africa many times more expensive than living in Ecuador. So many wait until the money falls from the sky. And again the request for help comes from abroad. NO, our community has to occur in a learning process and practice responsibility in prayer and giving. Only those who will fulfill the Great Commission, also has the blessing of God part. We have to risk something and that is also on your wallet.
Our two missionaries are role models for me, you have abandoned professional careers, you come out with a minimal support and trust God, Jeanneth to be bitter now for 11 years without. As long as it can take up to a community recognizes its responsibility. Today we have a large mission festival organized with some testimonies of foreign missionaries. Please pray that people wake up from their convenience.
